People of Color Lactation Education Scholarship
The Tampa Bay Breastfeeding Task Force, Inc. will be awarding a maximum of five (5) applicants with our Persons of Color Lactation Education Scholarship.
Recipients will receive:
Attendance to Tampa Bay Breastfeeding Task Force 7th Conference Back to the Basics of Lactation Feb. 23, 2024
8:30 am to 4:30pm, and
A Florida Lactation Consultants Association (FLCA) Membership, and
A United States Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA) Membership for the calendar year 2024 (total value of $130)
Membership with FLCA provides the opportunity to earn 8 CERPs each year, Membership with USLCA provides the opportunity to earn up to 8 CERPs. These opportunities are being provided via virtual platforms. These CERPs are necessary for applicants on their pathway to become an IBCLC.
Eligible applicants should complete the application below before 11:59 pm on January 8th, 2024.
