People of Color Lactation Education Scholarship
The Tampa Bay Breastfeeding Task Force, Inc.
will be awarding a maximum of five (5) applicants with our Persons of Color Lactation Education Scholarship.
Recipients will receive:
Attendance to Tampa Bay Breastfeeding Task Force 8th Conference Breastfeeding is Love Feb. 21, 2025 8:30 am to
4:30pm, and
A Florida Lactation Consultants Association (FLCA) Membership, and
A United States Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA) Membership for the calendar year 2025 (total value of $150)
Membership with FLCA provides the opportunity to earn 8 CERPs each year, Membership with USLCA provides the opportunity to earn up to 8 CERPs. These opportunities are being provided via virtual platforms. These CERPs are necessary for applicants on their pathway to become an IBCLC.
